Puddlehooves: A Centaur Fishing Story
Granddad didn't take much seriously in his life, but he respected the art of fishing... and you, because you shared his love of fishing. Now that he's gone, and your parents are talking about selling the old fishing shack, it's time for you to step up and prove yourself worthy.

Having been a big fisher in both OSRS and WoW I'm really looking forward to trying this game out more thoroughly. :D I have a question though that I want to ask/discuss and would like to get in contact with you; what is the best way for me to go about doing so? (:
ok i absolutely love this game! the concept is amazing! a centaur fishing!! i love that so much :P overall its honestly a really cool game, the graphics are lovely (i spent a while admiring the ocean wave effect..how did you do that so well!?) and i really like all the little details like the character changing their scarf each day!
as for the game mechanics themselves, its simple but easy to grasp fishing. it took me a few days to realise the river had two different spots to fish in, but i take full blame for that one lol. the mail was also a nice touch and gave some handy hints! my only request is a way to check the total species there are to catch so i know how far i have to go! (also quick question, what exactly does the different bait do?)
oo this is a bit of a long comment. oh well. loved the game! (in case that wasnt obvious already :P)
Thank you so much for your comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed.
The ocean wave is a simple shader that moves a wave-and-foam texture. (And if you don't like the color of the clothes, you can interact with the trunk and change at any time!)
I had intended to add some of Granddad's Books to the bookcase, which would include things like an area map, and information about baits and things, but unfortunately I ran out of time in the jam. Each fish will respond to certain baits or tackles and not others, as well as time of day and weather. If you find yourself catching the same fish all the time, changing up your bait and tackle selection can help!
